Art of the Sea Galleries

The South Thomaston Gallery was formerly the old Post Office. Its spacious rooms are bright and airy, with spectacular views of the famous "Reversing Falls" and the old harbor.

The main downstairs gallery still features the rows of antique post office boxes on the wall, lending the nostalgic charm of a bygone era. The gallery features superb works by many marine masters, as well as new works by emerging stars.

The collection of ship models is unequaled in its variety and its high level of craftsmanship. The gallery also has a resident model builder and restorer on staff.


	Art of the Sea is dedicated to the premise that contemporary marine art should preserve the harbors, lighthouses, ships, classic yachts and pristine seacoast of our time.
