Mr. Popadics has been called “one of today’s top landscape artists” by The Artist’s Magazine. He is primarily known for his traditional style of landscape painting and his colorful watercolor paintings of coastal scenes. Mr. Popadics was raised in Wayne, New Jersey. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York’s School of Visual Arts, and has been a professional artist for over 15 years. He has had numerous one-man shows, including an exhibit at the Bergen Museum of Art and Science in Paramus, New Jersey. His work has appeared in several juried exhibitions at the National Academy of Design, the Salmagundi Club and other prominent organizations. Among his many honors are two “Best in Show” awards and seven major national awards. He is an elected member of three art organizations, and was a featured artist in the July 1998 and June 2000 issues of The Artist’s Magazine. Mr. Popadics is a faculty member, education chairman and trustee of the Ridgewood Art Institute. He also teaches at Ridgewood Community School. His work is represented in only in the finest galleries, and his watercolors are in countless private and public collections.
